I would like to request historical documents from the Board of Selectmen, Board of Health and the Conservation Commission related to actions and decisions made regarding the commercial dump/landfill still in existence on the town own property referred to as the Breakneck Hill conservation land.
As a member of the Conservation Commission I am concerned this landfill may be in violation of Southborough’s wetland protection by-laws, represent a physical hazard to public safety and possibly still be in need of proper disposition.
I would like to have any documents identified as “executive session” proceeding made public so I and any other commissioner, can publicly address the historical reasoning for the present condition at the site.
Specify I would like the release of the executive session minutes and all associated documents regarding the Conservation Commission meeting on December 1, 2005 with members of the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Health present.
I would also ask any subsequent meeting notes, reference documents and agendas generated by the Conservation Commission, Board of Health and the Board of Selectmen specific to the topic of the landfill at Breakneck Hill be made available to me and the public up to the point the decision was made to allow the landfill to exist in its present condition.
Thank you for considering my request.
